Just a really quick review today to show you the end result of Rimmel Pro Matte Finish Top Coat! Its going to be a quick review, as I haven't much to say about the packaging or the application that is different to a normal nail varnish or top coat.
Basically, its just a post to say how much I LOVE THIS! Its SO cool! I bought a matte black nail varnish off ebay a few years ago, and it was so terribly bad and seeing pictures of matte nails with shiny tips just made me so jealous! And now its possible. Yay. You see the mattifying effect happen pretty quickly, but don't be fooled. You have to wait quite a while for it to dry, well about 10 minutes. But all you girls know, waiting 10 minutes for nails to dry is like waiting all day! It says up to 10 days wear, but with my hands in cleaning products and water 7 hours a day, we will see. You'll find it with all the nail care varnishes in the Rimmel stand. At the moment its on offer for 2 for £6, or at £4.59 on its own! Get one, you will not regret it.
I have also seen videos on youtube, where you mix a nail varnish with corn flour, to create your own matte polish. Which I am going to give a go. But that's just way too fiddeley when you can just a whole bottle up in Boots and keep it for a looong time!
