Lime Crime Velvetine 'Suedeberry' £11.50 Via Cocktail Cosmetics
Hey girlies. Today, I present you with, the best lip product I have EVER used. I know that's a big statement but bare with me, if you read on, you will realize!
What they say: 'The Suedeberry Velvetine from Lime Crime is a long-lasting, waterproof liquid lipstick that applies with the ease of gloss and dries to a completely matte finish.'
What I think: I think this is just completely brilliant. It essentially looks like a lipgloss, its packed like a lipgloss, with a doe foot applicator. It applies like a very thin, watery lipgloss which is packed with colour. It's very highly pigmented, and I would say the shade 'Suedeberry' was a very warm orangy toned red, as you can tell by the middle photograph. The packaging is also so cute! Lime Crime are boss at packaging, it always looks so fun, the frosted glass really gives it a 'velvet' type look to the product.
The best part about this product is the longevity. The goodness of a lipstick, to me, is how long it lasts. And this bugger does NOT move at all. I had it on for a whole shift at work, that included eating, and drinking, and it just did not move. When I came home for dinner even my mum asked if I had just re-applied. Thats how fresh it looked on.
My only negative about this product is after a while, it can leave your lips feeling dry. But I didn't have a problem with this if I kept my lips hydrated the morning of wearing it!
Overall, I love this. It is completely worth the money, so much better than the Lime Crime lipsticks, and just needs to be raved about, and everyone needs to try it! I just HOPE they bring out a whole range of colours for this product, as 2 shades of red just isn't enough. I will be buying the Red Velvet shade when it's back in stock somewhere in the UK. But for now, my lips will forever be this colour.
