My Uni Essentials

I am in the same boat as thousands across the country. Starting a new chapter in my life by starting uni. I won't be the only one who took out a year, but more on that in another post! But being in just over a week now, I've composed a list of the things that I will need during my time there! 

The first on my list, was a massive bag. Because im a crazy bag lady, there's no trouble with me finding a big bag, but I'd say, if you don't have one, get one! Already my bag is full (the photo above doesn't show all the crap that's in there). You'll be getting sheets, briefs, books, folders throughout the year, and the last thing I wanna do is be struggling to carry it all when it can fit in one bag! A pencil case is a MUST. There's nothing more annoying than having people asking for pens DONT BE THAT PERSON! In mine I have some pencils, pens, sharpener, highlighter, scissors and a sharpie. Which will no doubt be just a pen and pencil by the end of semester 1. A note pad is next obviously, mines a cute leather one from TK Maxx. And also a planner, I didn't think of this until I got given it at uni, but already I've written in key dates and brief deadlines. I'd also say a pen drive is a must. You can get them so cheap now there's no excuse. The last 2 are optional and by no means do you need an ipad for uni, but it's so handy just to carry round if you have a crappy phone like mine! And last but not least is a digital camera... All you academic people out there probably won't need one for your course, but if you are doing a creative course like me. Then I'd say you'd have to invest! Even these aren't expensive anymore for a decent camera! 

These needs will vary throughout all the different courses, but this is just what I personally need for a Fashion Promotion course! And if course I'm only a week in, so I'm sure the list will completely grow with some obscure things added along the way!
